it's a quarter after one... and i need you now.

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 9, 2009, 9:13 PM
it's not really, but if I don't go to bed soon, it's going to be a quarter after one. Oooh, and spiffy new journal thingies! :D

so uhm, long time no update, yeah? So I went and saw Phantom of the Opera downtown at the Fox Theater. Oh, my, gosh. <3 It was amazing, really truly, amazing. I won't describe it because I won't give it justice. Just, go see it. :]

Nothing has really been goin' on lately. I haven't talked to you guys a bunch. :/ It's making me sad. Goal: talk to you. :D

I read the book "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult, and oh my gosh, I don't think I've ever cried so hard. It's SOOOO sad. But it was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It's not even really a girly book. My guy friend read it and liked it. It might sound familiar because it was made into a movie... if that rings any bells. Anyhow, read it. :)

School: Algebra II still sucks. I don't even know what we're talking about in there. Fail. We have a test Wednesday that I'm for sure gonna fail. Chemistry test tomorrow, not worried about that. Everything is really fine. Except for a couple new school rules. Explained in link.

which leads to...I got a new blog. Again. xD So if you want, you can, go check it out. -kicks dirt- [link]

My mom bought these frozen lemonade things in a cup, and those are amazing. I think I've eaten like all 7 of them in the past 4 days. Sad, no?

I miss tennis. I've just been sitting around inactively and I swear I'm going to gain ten pounds from those lemonade things. We had tennis pictures last Tuesday, and those were good. I miss the team. :/ I also miss watching the U.S. Open. Rafael Nadal shoulda won. Either way...

So I've been spending like all of my free time (which really isn't that much) watching The Office. I love that show. Ahhh, I've watched the first four seasons in three weeks. Yeeeppp. I'm in love. What can I say. ;]

how are you guys? Oh my gosh, I don't even know what I'm typing. I'm just tired, and hyper, and kinda hungry, and I just need to go to bed.

- Go to your music player of choice and put it on shuffle.
- Say the following questions aloud, and press play.
- Use the song titles that come up to answer each question.
- NO CHEATING.

[looks awesome. I want to see it. :D]

I haven't posted a journal anytime recently, so I'd thought I'd do that, and update you guys on what's going on, considering I haven't talked to any of you in a billion years. :(

School is getting a little better. I'm doing fine in all my classes except for my Adv. Algebra II class. At first, I thought I just wasn't paying close enough attention, even so it didn't help. My teacher in that class is horrible. My friend Jackie, corrects him all the time in that class, so it's like great. I have a teacher who doesn't even know how to do the problems himself. We had a big test in there a couple days ago and I thought I did decent-- like a B. I got a 70%. Almost a D. Ugh. And today he yelled at me because I used his stapler wrong. It's like WTH. How can you even use a stapler wrong?

Moving on. Tennis is fun. Going good. It's almost over though. My last game is October 2 and then we have a district tournament the 5th, but I'm not sure I'm playing in that or not...

I'm getting sick. Dandy.

OH! Our choir is going to see Phantom of the Opera at the Fox, which will be amazing. That'll be so fun. We're also going to Chicago this year too, in Marchish? maybe. Somewhere around there. :]

I've been watching Glee--I love that show. :]]

That's really about it. Nothing new has really been happening. How about you guys?

It's time...

for an update, methinks.

School sucks. So much. I have 1-2 hours of homework, almost every night just because of my Algebra II class. My teacher for that class is so... UGH. He makes me so mad. I want to whack him over the head with my backpack! He doesn't teach and in an algebra class, you need to teach us how to do that freakin problem. Then when we ask questions he gets mad that we don't understand. I'm like wtc! D:<

All my other classes are ok for the most part except for Intro to Communications -- my speech class. I don't know anybody in there except for one girl, who I really don't know; she is in choir, but not the same one as me. Either way, The class is like 75% boys and 25% girls... it sucks.

Tennis is going ok, just exhausting and time consuming since I have practice every day after school. But I'm getting better and it's fun, so it's worth it. Our first game was supposed to be yesterday but the other team didn't show up: to their own courts! It's like, what the heck?! So we won by default. So tomorrow we have a home game, so it's technically my first. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. Wish me luck?

Oh, I had to quit my piano lessons. :/ For now, at least. I can't do it because tennis interferes with it, and I really don't have time to practice it at all... Sad day for meeeee.

On to good news: Our pastor and his family moved in yesterday! [If you didn't know, our church has been looking for a pastor for 3 years, and we finally gots one! :D] So I'm really excited about that. They have 10 kids; 5 of them are adopted and 5 are their own. -ishappy-

I started reading "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire for my English class. It's so different from the musical already. And very political. I'm on what? the third chapter? haha. It's pretty good. Kinda hard to read, but I'll plow through. :3

Ahh, and "The Siege of Macindaw" came out like 3 weeks ago but I finally got it today. I have to read that. <3

Other than that, I really don't have much to say. I have some more pictures I would like to upload to here, but I don't have time. And I'm tired right now. Exhausted really. sooo later.

School is Going to Control My Life

But then again, I just might be being a bit melodramatic. xP

School starts Thursday, August 13, for me which means I have only one full day of freedom left. Grrr... Which really, is not even that, because I joined the tennis team and we have practice tomorrow, 3:30-6. Consequently, I didn't have my physical done the first day of practice [aka: yesterday], so I had to get it done this morning and then turn it in and go practice. So lucky little me had no idea what was going on since I missed the whole "welcome to the tennis team, here are all the rules and regulations" chat. xD

I really have no idea what I was thinking.

Our school used to have an A/B day blocked schedule, where you would have 4 classes for A day, and 4 different classes for B day. Now, we have 7 hours a day, and no A/B day. Which is really frustrating because now I can't take Trig this year because I would have taken 3 math classes normally, and now I can't. It's kind of confusing, and I sound like I love math, where in reality I hate it. Either way.

Which also means I can't procrastinate my homework and have to do it every night. -sigh- And then not to mention practice. Thankfully, tennis is only a fall sport. :] But then I'm doing the musical in the spring [or I hope to be...]. -shot-

Anyhow, if you're interested, this is my schedule this year:

    1.) Adv. Algebra 2
    2.) French 2
    3.) A Capella Choir
    4.) Intro to Comm
    5.) Chemistry
    6.) Soc Studies 10 - Western Civ.
    7.) Adv. English 10

I'm fine with my classes, except for Intro to Comm which is a mandatory speech class. I don't like to talk in front of people...

I'm just kinda nervous for this school year I suppose. I just feel like I've got a lot on my plate, with all my advanced classes, then tennis, then my youth group, and I forgot about my piano lessons. I don't think I can continue with them because practice gets in the way, and I really don't want to stop. I think I just need to go to bed.
